ABOUT THIS PROJECT: Karen Sheffler graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1995 with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She quickly became an expert in medical swallowing conditions and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) by working with influential mentors in the medical sector like Jay Rosenbek, JoAnne Robbins, and James Coyle. She started SwallowStudy.com in May 2014 to create a valuable evidence-based dysphagia resource for professionals and people with difficulty swallowing (dysphagia). Karen Sheffler is a long time client of AMP and we are proud to continue to support her mission in dysphagia awareness and treatment.
