This design concept was created with the word elevation in mind, and of the existing logo, the business had. Given the company name and the design of the logo, it made sense to go with a mountain theme for the site. Mountain themes also tend to offer vibrant color schemes to work with which also played a role in the design of this site.

Vibrant colors throughout that compliment the industry ( who hasn’t seen a dentist or dental technician in teal green scrubs? ) are a key feature of this striking landing page for the dental professional and expert witness Leo Sushner. A custom site for an expert witness is a key part of effective marketing to differentiate oneself from the competition. Signing up for popular directories such as Legal Experts Direct is another great addition to a solid expert witness marketing strategy.

A Custom website for investigative professional and private investigator Craig Rimer. Craig had originally created a free website through Google, and while that may get the job done ( in a very minimal sense ), it left a lot to be desired. The response from the client exceeded even our own expectations. When he reviewed this site, not even a single edit was requested and it went live almost immediately!

Advantage Media Partner’s team of dedicated designers and developers build custom, modern, intuitive websites that today’s users demand. Studies show that a poorly designed website can quickly deter a potential customer from engaging further with a business, which is not good for business.
Once our designers and developers have completed the website one of our talented account managers reaches out and works together with the client to fine-tune the website to match their vision and business goals. Once the website has been approved it moves on to our technical mastermind web wizard, Jeremy, who then works with the client to get their domain name created, web server set up, and finally launch their brand new website and kick start their web presence!
It doesn’t stop there either, once the site is up and running our expert web team is always available to answer any questions, concerns, or expansion inquiries our clients have about their site. We take pride in our customer service and always strive to make sure our clients are happy and that their websites are achieving the goals they envision.
And it still doesn’t stop there either! The website gets sent to our expert ad and marketing team who work to drive traffic to the website and depending on the services selected our stellar SEO experts may even optimize the website too. But all that is a post for another day!
We wanted to highlight some of the recent work we’ve put out and give a shoutout to our web team and their awesome work!

Steve Burton is a real estate developer in New Mexico and needed a website to showcase a number of properties he has available to develop. By partnering with Advantage Media Partners Steve Burton has got a brand new website dedicated to these properties and a robust advertising campaign to back it up.

Reel Nauti Charters is a fishing charter service out of Maryland that offers not only fishing but also crabbing and corporate events. By using custom images from the client our expert web team created a unique experience for any potential clients. Creating a custom website that houses the details of the charter and provides easy access to contact the charter sets this apart from competitors and gives them an edge against those who are only using basic, cookie-cutter Facebook profiles or generic fishing templates to promote their business.

Women Mastering Confidence focuses on therapy, nutrition, and overall well-being for women. They required a landing page to express their unique services in order to empower women and help them grow into their ideal selves. Backed by a well-designed and thoughtful ad campaign we’re sure Women Mastering Confidence will continue to grow and improve the community of Maryland.

It’s all in the name, short, sweet, and to the point! Honest John needed a website to reach potential clients in the New Jersey area, his business name really says it all, he’ll tow your car and he’ll buy your junk cars! Many towing services rely on generic business listings and social media accounts to get their business but they’re missing out on so many opportunities to set themselves apart from their competitors with a unique website, even if it is short and sweet!

]]>In order to accomplish this, we placed a large CTA in the center of the banner on the homepage that features the business’s phone number. Our expert web design team created a custom banner above the navigation that prominently features the business’s phone number as well. In addition to the phone number, our expert web design team included additional information about the service area and the 24/7 nature of the business that was important to include above the fold.

Working together with the R & J team our expert web design team created a custom website that focuses on phone calls and the 24/7 hour nature of the business and includes secondary information such as some background information about the businesses and details of their services.
This fully responsive and modern website is an important asset for R & J as they continue to grow their business. One of the great advantages of utilizing our expert web design team and services is that the website will easily scale as they grow and our team of experts is always available to help with that process!

]]>Popular eCommerce sites include the likes of Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, all whose purpose is pretty obvious, selling products.
Optimizing for their goal is pretty straight forward; to make it easy for customers to find the products they are looking for, while suggesting related products in an attempt to increase up-sale opportunities.
For a large eCommerce store, intuitive product search functionality is crucial. While for a small store front with just a few products, it would be more beneficial to use resources to promote and showcase the individual products.
The goal of lead generation websites is to generate leads, either through calls, contact form submissions, or by collecting email addresses for an email marketing list. Many industries utilize contact forms and provide their phone numbers on their sites for prospective clients, in hopes of scheduling appointments and reaching new clients.
Focusing on this particular goal allows for website creators to prioritize optimization for this kind of conversion, usually achieved by making phone numbers large and easy to find, and including catchy call-to-action items that direct a viewer to a contact form.
Most of our client’s sites serve this primary purpose, for some examples take a look at our Web Projects Portfolio.
Branding sites are found more with large companies promoting new product lines, and with existing brands wanting to reinforce or expand their presence.
The purpose of these sites is to focus-in specifically on promoting the brand; either to drum up interest for a new product release a few months down the road to increase sales (think Nike or Apple), or to spark interest in the brand itself in an attempt to gain more customers and enforce brand loyalty.
A branding site is about building hype and getting a company’s name out to a broader audience, so that later those people will end up either on your eCommerce site or in your brick and mortar locations.
Primarily news sites and blogs are the most common kinds of publishing sites. Their intent is to provide content to visitors in the form of articles, and can be about anything from news stories like Forbes, DIY tutorials, product reviews, to cooking recipes like i am a food blog.
These sites make their revenue by including sponsored ads in their articles from display ad services such as AdSense.
These kinds of sites serve to continue ongoing support of a company’s services or products in the form of detailed documentation, chat support, driver downloads, instructions and/or F.A.Q.s, most commonly found with larger technology companies.
The Google Support and jQuery sites are good examples of this, they both have in-depth documentation and up to date examples that inform developers how to use their products.
An eCommerce shop that sells trendy apparel, which also has a tourism blog, and has several pages dedicated to promoting the owner’s espresso machine repair services. For anyone ending up at the site, two thirds of the site’s content would be about something the prospective client is not looking for, making the overall impression fairly unfocused.
This would make it harder to funnel them to a desired conversion, and may even give the impression that the business doesn’t have a clear structure. This same business owner would have a lot more success with three separate websites, each designed to focus on their individual goals.
This is because the call to actions and web design strategies are significantly different for each these three types of business websites, and trying to mix them together generally gets pretty messy and convoluted.

]]>Providing a great experience on mobile devices is critical for a successful website. Responsive Design is generally the most cost effective way to provide it catering to the mobile and desktop experiences with a single site.
HTML is the raw content of a website including text, images, and media. CSS is what controls how it looks. So fonts, colors, and layouts are done with CSS. HTML5 is the newest version of HTML that allows extra functions particularly useful for mobile devices.
CSS3 expands the tools available to control the design of a site and determines the screen size using CSS media queries. Including famous JavaScript libraries jQuery and Moo Tools have made things much easier to animate these features and more.
Most contemporary browsers support this dynamic and responsive code and even elegantly degrade when the scripts aren’t available.
The ultimate goal is to feel comfortable when interacting with the site regardless of what device a visitor is using to access your site. Responsive design provides you’re user with a complete seamless experience that is adaptive to any screen size keeping a wide variety of users on your site.

]]>Scope Creep has been a thorn in the side of projects since time immemorial. When I began writing this blog I decided 200-300 words should suffice. But as I start putting words to the page I realize I can throw in some amusing anecdotes from my college days, perhaps an image or two of my dogs, and a number of amazing and awe inspiring info-graphs with vibrant colors, 3D pie charts, and . . . Why stop there? Why indeed.
When a project does not have clearly defined milestones and objectives it can ruck a muck in a hurry. For a project to succeed in a timely and efficient manner there must be clearly defined goals. If a project is begun without clearly defined goals then those participating in the project have no clear indication on when or how it ends.
A project’s timeline should have some flexibility built into it but not so much that it is open ended. Exactly how much flexibility is built it into the Project Scope may determine the degree of success or failure of a given project.
Scope Creep and Web Devlopment:
Website development is a collaborative process. When Web Developers are given content by a client, images and text, the developers take a considerable amount of time exploring optimal ways to present the content in a single or multi-page layout. Once the work has begun it can have negative, even disastrous consequences, when more content is brought into play. In many instances, adding new content to a website which is already in the process of being built will require the site to be completely redesigned; essentially bringing the developer back to square one.
Web Developers know that a website is built for the sole purpose of reaching a “conversion” transaction. This may be buying a product or filling out a contact form. The developer gears the website to steer the user to the conversion point. Often times the client will want personalization and custom work done to the site which will actually impede the user from reaching the desired conversion. Wanting to express oneself is a wonderful thing but doing so in the midst of a website meant to bring in business is not a great idea, that is what blogs and personal facebook pages are intended for.
We have put into place as many safe guards against scope creep as we can but it is called “creep” for a reason. There are dozens of ways a project can take on an unwanted life of it’s own when the complications breed further complications.
